In Season 1 of the van develop, we removed off the old DPD sticker labels, rust-proofed the whole van, painted it our preferred matte grey color, revamped the taxi, prepared our van’s style/ design, produced our impressive water tanks, constructed our custom-made panorama roofing system windows, set up brand-new wheels, & set up an insulated flooring! PHEW! Developing a house is something else! https://bit.ly/LM_SEASON1. Then Season 2 of the van develop rolled around, and with our workshop’s remodelling behind us, it got TECHNICAL! We constructed a 47 degree solar tilt (1kW of solar energy!), made custom-made seat bases & installed our custom-made seats, we took security to the NEXT level, breaking down our 12 amazing layers of security, wired whatever our tech-dependent house will require, produced the very best insulation we have actually ever seen in a campervan (check out our video on campervan insulation & cold outdoor camping insulation), installed our own custom-made security electronic cameras, framed the ceiling, AND produced our peak-a-boo drapes. WOW!! We are beyond prepared to be off grid in this Ducato van house! ❤ https://bit.ly/LM_SEASON2. —-. Who are we? We’re Ladi (from Czechia) & Margaret (from U.S.A.) and we enjoy eBikes, campervans, & felines. In 2020 our van life way of life turned upside down, & we required to stop taking a trip in our camper to lockdown in eastern Czech Republic due to the pandemic. Without any itinerary and some brand-new time on our hands, we chose to offer our old van, begin an electrical bike organization, start a youtube channel, develop our supreme dream campervan, remodel a junkyard into a small home homestead, prepare a container & house system, and … well, some other smaller sized tasks in-between. What we believed would just be 6 months of “stillness” has actually ended up being 2 years of development, development, therefore much enjoyable, and the majority of that is thanks to YOU. Although we’re thrilled to be back on the roadway and taking a trip the world once again quickly, we’re so appreciative to lay a structure here in Central Europe & bring you with us on this insane journey. Thank you for supporting us and belonging to this amazing neighborhood! —-. Van Trip + STYLE Evaluation of Ingenious Campervan Design. Music By: MusicBed & Upsurge Noise. 1. What was your favorite feature of this van, and would you modify it at all for your own build?? Thanks for joining us for this final video of our USA Vanlife Trip! It was so important to us to get on the road again in the midst of our van build, visit family, travel a bit, to now return to the workshop with fresh heads & ideas! This winter is going to be unbelievable! It’s van build season, baby!!

    1. Gostei muito….me chamou muito à atenção a cama… parabéns pela casa… logo logo terei a minha também….se Deus quiser ☺️😍🙏

  2. I wouldn’t like the stove pulling out over the leather couch. That would really be messy, in my opinion.

  3. Hi there. From your accent I was guessing either Slovak or Czech. Are you planning to sell or do you already sell those vans that you build. I am in Slovakia. Was looking for something to travel comfortably in.

  4. Live it out !

Van is a joke to live in
    Efficiency ?

Making van for only; single purpose to live in it , having permanent furniture in is no efficient.
Luxury ? That amount of space can’t be luxury
Leave van empty and just have bed mattress – preferably inflatable ready to be used when needed as well as bucket for toilet and large bucket to use for showering .
This way van can be used for whatever purpose , cargo transportation, transporting 8 passengers or as a camper.

  5. Have Quick removable cotton seat covers (tying type) over these leather to be used in those very Hot summer days

  6. Great Review – your thoughts on burn out being linked to micro desgin issues was excellent too. Thanks so much for your honesty. Just one thing – I hate to tell you this – but your Gorgeous Bunny? She is actually….a Cat! hehehe And a very Beautiful pussycat she is, too!

  7. Watertank outside? Not in my country 🇫🇮. Three months of year all water would be one huge icecube. All water containers must be inside if you want to use your van year around.

  8. The first time I have heard the compost issue addressed in a van! Yes. Compost does not go in the garbage.

  9. Love the burrito bed idea!! I have seen some with Murphy beds or the beds that lift up to the ceiling which are super cool, and all three would leave “living space” when they are not needed. I don’t mind making a bed every morning, nor does my husband. It is just automatic for whomever is the last one up. The bed that just raises to the ceiling would be my #1 pick.
But, making a bed that you can’t walk around, such as a permanent, fixed bed in a van… I don’t think either of us would like. Being able to just fold it or lift it up and out of the way and getting all that space during the rest of the day would be totally necessary in my opinion.

I would never consider traveling in one without a full shower/bathroom. This shower looked pretty nice! My husband takes a shower every night before bed, but neither of us would like the outdoor shower, with a hose from the garage before bed. If you are out in the wilderness and no people around… and it was WARM outside, it would be great. But going to all the money on one of these builds and not having a full shower inside, for when the weather is cold or rainy outside, would be a bummer.

The more I watch, I too believe a composting toilet is the way to go. Probably the best would be an incinerator type, but who has $6,000 and wants to beef up the electrical to use it?!

I too think the chopping drawer for veggies is cool, but I wouldn’t want it. A light weight flat chopping mat would be much more practical in a tiny kitchen, take up much less space and easy to pick up and dispose of any leftovers. (It was a pretty inovative design… I have to admit!)
    FRIDGE:
I would hate the pull out fridge. Even the fridges that are larger, but set down on the floor I wouldn’t like. I have seen several that are mounted on top of a built in cupboard or drawer, that makes the bottom of the fridge at least knee level, and those are epic!! That way you wouldn’t have to lean way down to stock the fridge or get to items.

I have seen only ONE van conversion that has an electric cooler plugged in, in the garage space, which is what I would have for extra drinks. Even our 5 day coolers keep drinks pretty darn cold, even a day or so after the ice has melted. I could see myself putting one of those in the garage space and buying a bag of ice every 5 or so days… IF I was traveling in areas where there aren’t any big grocery stores, or camping for a few days.

The sink in this van is nice, but way too big and just takes up counter space. It wouldn’t be so bad if it had a lid that fitted inside the top so it could be used as more counterspace when not in use… though I could see myself washing my hair in it! LOL On second thought…. a big sink would be great for quick rinsing a few light clothes if you weren’t near a place to do laundry, so I might keep that, only with an insert countertop lid!!

Oh… I love these van conversions and would LOVE to own one!! I have been watching these for a couple of years and they seem to get more and more beautiful! Unfortunately, as cattle ranchers… we are pretty much stuck at home with cows, so we very seldom get a chance to take off for a week. Most of our vacations are for less than 7 days, and we take them about every 3 years… so alas, a converted van wouldn’t be very practical! –sigh!!

I keep thinking that maybe someday when we semi retire and our son takes over, my husband and I could go out on the road during down time on the ranch and see America.

  10. i agree with alot of your points and criticisms. Would LOVE to see some place for at least a “mini” fridge but looks like there can be space made for a “medium” fridge.
